A 3,000 W inverter can run an RV rooftop air conditioner (usually with a soft starter), an induction cooktop, or a microwave and coffee maker together. It’s near the practical limit for 12 V: at full output it pulls about 280 A, which needs very heavy cable, a large fuse and a lithium battery bank rated for that current. If you’re planning a system this size from scratch, a 24 V or 48 V battery bank halves or quarters the current.
