From about 3,000 running watts an inverter generator can start and run a 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner, and most in this size have a TT-30 outlet that plugs straight into a 30 A RV. At home they cover a fridge, a freezer, a furnace blower and lights through a transfer switch or inlet. Most have wheels and electric start, since they weigh 90 lb or more.
