Best Small Portable Solar Panels Ranked

12 panels under 150 W: backpacking, phones and small power stations.

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Small panels are the ones you carry rather than drive, and the lightest fold to about the size of a laptop bag. In good sun they keep phones, cameras, headlamps and a small power station topped up, but even a full day only adds a few hundred watt-hours, so they won’t refill a large station. Look for USB ports if you want to charge devices without a power station, and a light weight for its wattage if it’s going in a pack.
