Best 1000W and Smaller 12V Inverters Ranked

29 12 V pure sine wave inverters up to 1,000 W.

Last updated: October 24, 2026

A small inverter covers the loads most people actually run off a battery: laptops, phones, a TV, a CPAP machine, a fan, camera and drone chargers. Most run from a 12 V battery with modest cable, and the smallest can plug into a fused 12 V socket. Idle draw matters most at this size, because these inverters are often left on all night for a CPAP or fridge, and a heavy idle draw can use more of the battery than the device itself.
