Best 2000W and Larger 48V Inverters Ranked

20 48 V pure sine wave inverters over 1,500 W.

Last updated: October 24, 2026

A 2,000 W or larger inverter runs the everyday loads of an off-grid cabin or a workshop: a well pump, a microwave, a coffee maker, power tools and a fridge together. Check the surge rating against your biggest motor, since a well pump or compressor can draw three to five times its running power for a moment at startup. These are inverters only; if you also want to charge the bank from the grid or a generator and switch over automatically, see the inverter-chargers.

Prices were last checked October 24, 2026 and are subject to change; the price and availability shown by the retailer at the time of purchase apply.
