Pros
- 37 V operating voltage suits a 24 V battery through an MPPT controller, at half the current of a 12 V panel
- Lower current lets long cable runs use thinner wire with less loss
- 10-year workmanship warranty, IP68 junction box and a full datasheet
Cons
- Needs an MPPT controller; on a 12 V PWM controller most of the extra voltage is wasted
- 44.7 V open-circuit, so two in series (about 89 V) exceed most portable power stations’ solar inputs
- About $1.08 per watt, and at 27 lb a two-person lift; no independent output test yet
