Best 24V and 36V Lithium Batteries Ranked

35 24V and 36V LiFePO4 batteries scored on price per watt-hour, tested capacity, output, warranty and cold-weather charging.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

A 24V or 36V lithium battery puts in one case what used to take two or three 12V batteries wired in series. Most go on a 24 V or 36 V trolling motor, where one lithium battery weighs about a third as much as the lead-acid bank it replaces and holds its voltage, so the motor keeps its thrust late in the day. The rest run 24 V RV and solar systems. Inside each one is a battery management system (BMS) that sets how much current it can deliver and stops it from charging when it’s too cold. 8 of the 35 batteries here have a built-in heater, and 22 report to a phone app over Bluetooth.

Each voltage is ranked separately. Prices run from $252.99 to $1,899. Rated capacity is the maker’s claim. Only 0 have independent capacity tests, and those count toward the score.
