Pros
- Drops into the plumbing of an old Hayward AquaRite or Goldline system without cutting or gluing
- Screen shows the salt level in ppm, so you rarely need a separate salt test
- Costs about what many brand-name replacement cells do, but replaces the whole system
Cons
- Warranty is prorated after year 1 and ends after 4 years, the shortest of CircuPool’s main lines
- No Wi-Fi, app or named automation system
- Rated for only 25,000 gallons; most in-ground pools need the Universal40
