Most above-ground salt systems are one plug-in unit with the cell built in, connected between the filter pump and the pool by hose. They run on a 115 V outlet and are sized for pools up to about 20,000 gallons. Check that the unit’s hose fittings match your pump (usually 1.25 or 1.5 in) and that it’s rated for your pool’s size with some room to spare.
