These are the cheapest projectors, many sold as “1080p supported” or “4K supported”. That means they accept the signal and scale it down to a smaller panel. Some use a 1280 x 720 or 854 x 480 panel. Many small DLP portables use a 960 x 540 chip that pixel shifts to 1080p, sharper than 720p but softer than a native 1080p panel, and they rank ahead of 720p models for it. The rest don’t publish their native resolution at all; they get a middle score for resolution, marked estimated. For a sharper picture at a small step up in price, see native 1080p projectors.
Prices were last checked October 29, 2026 and are subject to change; the price and availability shown by the retailer at the time of purchase apply.
