Pros
- High suction for a single stage collector, enough to pull through a few runs of duct
- A 2 micron canister filter catches much finer dust than a stock bag
- Five year warranty, among the longest here
- JET’s Vortex cone drops more chips into the bag before they reach the filter
Cons
- Needs a 240 V circuit
- JET rates the canister at 86% at 2 micron, well short of the 99.9% at 1 micron that Grizzly claims
- Costs twice what Grizzly asks for a similar 2 HP canister collector
