Best Electric Garage Heaters Ranked

15 hardwired 240 V electric garage heaters.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

A hardwired electric garage heater hangs from a wall or ceiling bracket and runs on a dedicated 240 V circuit, with a fan blowing air over a heating element. There’s no gas line, vent or flame, and installing one is mostly running the circuit from the panel. Most have two or three power settings and a built-in thermostat; the pricier ones add a digital display, a remote, a timer or WiFi control.
