Pros
- Low ripple, tightly regulated output that also works as a bench power supply
- Fan speed rises gradually with temperature, so there is no sudden fan start at night
- Plug-in IQ controllers let you add multi-stage or lithium charging later
Cons
- Lithium charging needs the separate IQ-LIFEPO controller
- On its own it only holds a fixed voltage, so batteries charge slowly and a lead acid bank never gets a full absorption charge
- Costs more per amp than PowerMax or WFCO
