A drop-in converter replaces the converter section inside the RV’s distribution panel, so the AC breakers and DC fuses stay where they are; a full power center replaces the whole panel, converter, breakers and fuses together. Each is built to fit a particular maker’s panel and cutout, so check the model your RV has before ordering. A section swap is usually a short job; a full panel means reconnecting every circuit.
