For someone who wants one good-looking bladeless unit that heats in winter and cools in summer, and will pay for that. As a heater alone, it is poor value.

- Set a target temperature on the remote and it holds it, then switches to cooling fan in summer
- No exposed blades or glowing element, and it shuts off if knocked over
- Quiet enough for a bedroom at 26 dB in Sleep mode
- Oscillates through 70 degrees to spread heat across a room
Cons
- Dyson does not publish its US wattage, so you cannot compare heat output
- Costs about four times as much as a 1500 W fan heater
- The app cannot control heating in the US
- No safety lab listing is named, only compliance with UL 1278
