Pros
- Fits a small room or cabin where a full size stove would crowd the space
- Tested 75% efficient, so a load of wood goes further than in most budget stoves
- Keeps heating through a power cut
- Limited lifetime warranty on the firebox
Cons
- Takes only 11 in logs, so you cut or buy short firewood
- Peak EPA tested output of about 26,000 BTU/h suits one zone, not a whole house
- A blower costs extra and needs a mounting bracket
