Pros
  • 12 GPM at the full 40 mJ/cm² dose, where budget 12 GPM units don’t say what dose they mean
  • Colour screen shows lamp life, errors and a QR code to the lamp change video
  • Lamp is keyed and the chamber is single ended, so lamp changes are quick
  • Ports for a UV sensor or shutoff valve can be added later
Cons
  • No UV sensor as sold; that needs the LB6 version or an add on sensor
  • A genuine RL-999 lamp costs about $134 on Amazon every year
  • The 40 in chamber needs wall length plus room to pull the lamp
  • Not NSF certified
