A UV purifier rated up to 12 GPM covers most homes on a single well, with two or three bathrooms in use at once. This is where the cheapest units sit, many with no stated dose, alongside smaller units from Viqua and Luminor that publish their flow at the full 40 mJ/cm² Class A dose. A unit rated at a lower dose or no dose treats less water at full strength than its headline number, so leave some margin when sizing one to the house.
