- Runs on a plain 240 V dryer outlet with no water chiller to fill or drain
- Wire feeder is built into the cabinet, so there is no second box to wheel around
- Welds, cleans and cuts out of the box, so one machine covers most small shop jobs
- Sold and supported by a large maker with a US store and help center
Cons
- Only a 12 month warranty unless you pay for xToolCare
- At 68 lb it still needs a cart or a strong back to move
- 800 W tops out around 4 mm steel, so thick plate needs another welder
