A benchtop mill-drill holds the work in a vise on a table that moves in two directions under a spinning cutter, so it can cut flat faces, slots and pockets and drill holes exactly where they belong. Table size and travel set the largest part it can reach. An R8 spindle takes standard collets and end mill holders; smaller MT2 and JT1 spindles limit tooling. A tilting head drills and mills at an angle without tilting the part, and a depth readout helps hit a set depth.
