Pros
  • POWERLOAD winds new line at the push of a button, so reloading takes seconds instead of a wrestle with the spool
  • Takes 0.095 in. line, heavy enough for thick weeds along fences
  • Telescopic shaft adjusts to the user’s height
  • A 5-year tool warranty, longer than most battery trimmers
Cons
  • The 2.5Ah kit battery gives up to 45 minutes, so big lots need a second battery
  • No edging mode or attachments
  • EGO’s own page lists the kit as coming soon, so stock can be thin
