Pros
- Built by Midea, like several other brands here, with the same certified ratings
- Very efficient: a certified UEF of 4.00, about a quarter of the electricity of a standard electric tank
- 10-year tank and parts warranty plus 1 year of labor
Cons
- Louder than most at 49 dB(A); best kept away from bedrooms
- Switches to the backup element when the room drops below 37.4 °F, so it saves little in a freezing garage
- No Wi-Fi or app control
