Only worth a look if a seller has it well under the price of a newer Carryout G3; otherwise buy the G3.

Pros
- Works with DISH, DIRECTV and Bell TV
- 10 lb unit that stows in a bin
- Runs from 12 V, so it suits battery-only camping
Cons
- The 2014 design: about 3 lb heavier than the G3 and priced several hundred dollars higher on Amazon
- Winegard no longer lists the G2 in its shop
- DIRECTV is standard definition only
