A budget way into Beatbot’s lineup for mid-size pools that mostly need floor and wall cleaning. Shoppers who can stretch should compare it with the same-price AquaSense 2, which adds a bigger battery and a three-year warranty.

Pros
- Cleans the floor, walls and waterline of pools up to about 2,260 sq ft
- Fine 150 µm basket catches sand and silt as well as leaves
- Cordless, so there is no cable to tangle around ladders or drains
- Costs much less than Beatbot’s newer models with similar coverage
Cons
- Small 2 L basket needs emptying often in leafy pools
- No surface skimming and no published scheduling
- Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and the app loses contact underwater
- Shorter two-year warranty than the AquaSense 2
