Pros
- Pump lifts water 16 ft, so it can drain out of a crawl space or basement
- Rugged metal case and low profile fit a crawl space
- Runs down to 41 °F, so it keeps working in a cool basement
- 2-year full warranty, longer than most portables
Cons
- Rated only about 24 pints a day under the DOE test; the “70 pints” on the box is a saturation figure
- Costs more than a 50-pint pump unit with twice the DOE capacity
- No wheels
